Hastelloy C-22 alloy is a Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Tungsten alloy that has better overall corrosion resistance than other existing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys and good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent resistance to oxidizing water media, including wet chlorine, or mixed acids of oxidizing acids that contain chloride ions.
