Invar 36, also known as FeNi36 (also know as NILO 36, Pernifer 36, and Invar Steel), is a nickel-iron, low-expansion alloy containing 36% nickel. It has a low coefficient of expansion from cryogenic temperatures to about 260ºC. In the dry air at home temperature, invar 36 has good resistance to corrosion. But in moist air, it may go corrosion.
